There is always something in the works..
According to a recent study by the FCIC 95% of American's feel volunteer service is important. Of that 95%, 65% say they prefer to volunteer through their Church and seek churches which promote volunteer service. Of course as Christians we realize that volunteer work is more than just about 'feeling good' at the end of the day, it's showing the love of Christ not only through our speach, but our actions as well.
At the Fairfax Church of God we are always looking for ways to express this love, and can always use an extra helping hand. A few upcomming events which you can volunteer to help:
Good Friday Walk; this will be our second year, if you haven't yet you can check the pictures from last year. We believe this to be an outstanding outreach that really stresses the importance of the entire Easter Weekend
Memorial Day Parade; We were the first last year to have a float in the village parade for a long time. It was a great success. We look forward to the opportunity to participate again.
Pancake Breakfast; check your mailbox, as the year progresses we plan to host several breakfast's for the village.

We are trying a new format for Sunday morning. We have move "Sunday School" to Wednesday evening family training hour with Adult and Youth focused classes.
Sunday Morning time of fellowship begins around 10:00 coffee and snacks provided by the Pastor and his bread machine...yummy
Sunday Morning Service begins at 10:30 Wednesday Evening Classes begin at 7:00
